Kayla and Wallace | Salado Central Texas Wedding

I am so happy to share Kayla and Wallace Jr’s The Terrace at Salado intimate Central Texas wedding ceremony on the blog today!

The afternoon started at The Terrace at Salado wedding venue for introductions and photographs.  These two had a small quaint ceremony among their closest family in one of Central Texas most beautiful venue, The Terrace at Salado. If you’re not familiar with this venue, The Terrace at Salado is nestled in a corner off the hustle and bustle of the historic Salado, Texas.  A large windmill greets you as you enter the property. There is an outdoor area beneath a large Oak tree.  But our temperatures in  Central Texas have been reaching above 100 degrees, the couple chose to have their ceremony indoors.  The indoor facility is gorgeous! It’s 5,000 square foot that could accommodate up to 300 people. The center of the room features a large dance floor with a huge antique wagon wheel chandelier.  Let’s not forget the owner, Peggy she is a “jewel.” She is adorable and goes that extra mile to make sure everything is complete. The very first time I met her I felt like we have been friends for a very long time!  She’s a perfect hostess!!

Kayla and Wallace’s ceremony took place in the late afternoon and was followed by dancing.  There lots of hugs and laughter. It was amazing! The love for each other filled the room.  I am so grateful to be a part of their special day.

Thank you Kayla and Wallace for trusting me in capturing the most special day in your life!  Best Wishes!!

Dance The Night Away At Prom 2018

Temple Texas Photographer

Recently it was prom weekend for Academy High School, and I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a young lady and her date.

When M’s mom first contacted she mentioned M was a photographer and had youtube channel. I always get nervous photographing other photographers, but I knew it would be a fun shoot.

M had this incredible idea of doing prom pictures downtown Temple Texas, which is a location I love to shoot portraits. Downtown has so much architectural appeal with old buildings posing as great backdrops.

The weather was gorgeous but we had to battle a strong occasional wind, which I always worry about the hair during a session.  I sent M’s mom a text after I watched the weather to bring extra bobby pins and hair spray just in case.

I had so much fun with M and her date, L, can you feel the awesome energy from their shoot?  Thank you SO MUCH to M for inviting me along!

Temple Texas Photographer | Troy High School Varsity Baseball Team 2018

“Baseball was, is and always will be to me the best game in the world.” Babe Ruth
Nothing beats sitting in the stands of your local high school ballpark, watching your son on a hot, sunny day, with a hot dog smothered with all the yummies.  This scene is familiar to the dedicated fans who go out and root for their favorite high school baseball player.

Recently I had a visit from Troy High School Varsity Baseball players.  What a great bunch of guys!  When you head out to catch a game be on the look out for their banners.  They are proudly displayed as you enter the ballpark.

Here’s to a great season, Go Troy Trojans!

Have you scheduled your senior pictures?  It’s not too late!  Book today before you are caught without capturing your Seniors last few weeks of high school.

Temple Texas Newborn Photographer| Baby Makes Three

Baby Makes Three

Introducing Baby Kinsler! This handsome little one was amazing and napped during the entire session.  Kinsler resembles his Daddy for sure.  Can you see the resemblance?

I bet you can guess the color scheme we chose for baby Kinsler’s newborn photos. Neutral gray and creams for the win. This is a classic color combination resulting in timeless portraits.  I had so many favorites from this session. I think one of them Kinsler giggling.

What’s your favorite?

Thinking about booking your newborn portrait session? It’s never too early! Newborn sessions take place within five to twelve days after baby’s birth. It is suggested that you book your newborn photographer at the beginning of your second trimester to guarantee room on their calendar around your estimated due date. However, last minute bookings are GREAT, too!

Temple Tx Newborn Photographer | Daddy’s Princess Ruby

Introducing baby Ruby.  This sweet little Temple TX newborn princess was a joy to photograph as she slept through most her session without a peep. I was able to create adorable images for her family to cherish. Mom watched on with such adoration for her new baby girl.

Ruby’s mom requested soft feminine tones with an elegant feel for her newborn session.  With 2 older brothers, mom wanted a girly theme.  Isn’t she adorable?

Ruby has the most dainty little features she is going to be one gorgeous young lady.  Her big brothers are going to have to keep an eye out for her because the boys will be lined at her door.
